There are only 30 seats left. Don’t let this one get away from you. Call day or night to make your reservations. ● Thursday: July 5th Departing Camden. This morning we will depart Camden with Chicago as our destination tonight. Nobody likes long airline flights, so, to make the flight shorter, and to save money on the longer airline tickets, we’ve decided to travel by motorcoach to Chicago the first day, overnight here, and fly non stop out of Chicago on Friday. This will allow us to keep your cost lower and offer us a more direct and comfortable flight to Anchorage. (Dinner included tonight in Chicago) ● Friday: July 6th Anchorage, Alaska. This morning we will fly out of Chicago arriving in Anchorage this afternoon where we will overnight. Upon our arrival at the Anchorage Airport, our local motorcoach will pick us up and whisk us to our hotel for the evening. Our hotel is in beautiful downtown Anchorage. Now settle in for a good night’s rest because tomorrow we’ll start these long-awaited adventures. (Breakfast Included Today) ● Saturday: July 7th Talkeetna Today we’ll motorcoach to the rail depot and board the luxurious glass-domed railcars of the McKinley Explorer and journey along the base of the spectacular Alaska Range. We’ll enjoy breakfast in the comfortable dining area while the landscape unfolds before our very eyes. This afternoon we’ll visit Talkeetna. Talkeetna was the Alaska village that the TV show “Northern Exposure” was patterned after. A very rustic town, and, yes there just might be a large moose wandering through at any time. Tonight we’ve planned a sumptuous dinner at the popular Mt. McKinley Wilderness Lodge in Denali . (Meals Today: Breakfast & Dinner) ● Sunday: July 8th Fairbanks Pack in a good hearty breakfast before we’re off for a day of sightseeing adventures. This morning we’ve planned some free time so you can enjoy some of the beautiful scenery from our Denali lodge. You may just want to sit on the large deck and soak up quite possibly the most awesome view of Mt. McKinley in the state. This afternoon we’ll board our motorcoach for a back roads tour of Alaska while we travel to Fairbanks. We’ll overnight in a beautiful Fairbanks for the next two nights. (Meals Today: Breakfast) ● Monday: July 9th Fairbanks Over breakfast we’ll be sharing stories about our yesterday’s adventures and waiting with excitement what’s in store today. Today adventures includes gold panning at the El Dorado Gold Mine, a miner’s lunch at the Gold Dredge # 8 and an authentic sternwheeler cruise on the Chena and Tanana rivers. Then we’ll take a drive to North Pole, Alaska and stop at Santa Claus’s House. Tonight we’ve planned an outdoor Salmon Bake for dinner. (Meals Today: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) ● Tuesday: July 10th Denali This morning we’ll board the motorcoach to be transported to the rail station where we again board the luxurious glass-domed railcars of the McKinley Explorer as we journey along the base of the spectacular Alaska Range past Mt. Upon arrival at Denali Park we’ll again board a sightseeing bus for a 7 hour Denali Park Tundra tour.
