TOUR HIGHLIGHTS .● Saturday: MEET & GREET Today’s the day we get acquainted with all those folks going with us. We’ ll leave Camden at 7 a.m. As always, our late model coach will be complete with large picture windows for unobstructed viewing, reclining seats, individual climate controls, VCR monitors, and a bathroom for your comfort. We’ll make regular rest stops and a lunch break each day of this tour. We’ll overnight in Ohio and enjoy an authentic Amish family-style dinner. (Dinner included tonight) ● Sunday: NIAGARA FALLS Sunday morning we’ll head to Niagara Falls where we’ll check into our hotel in Niagara Falls. We’ll also take the exciting Maid of the Mist boat ride to the base of the Falls (you will be given a souvenir raincoat because, otherwise, you’ll get wet) and Sunday evening you’ll laugh yourself silly while enjoying a delicious dinner at the Oh, Canada, Eh! Dinner Theater. Our hotel will be the Radisson Fallview right at the edge of Niagara Falls. (Breakfast & dinner included today) ● Monday: TORONTO & 1000 ISLANDS Today we’ll continue on to Toronto, Kingston and the 1000 Islands area. We’ll stop in Toronto & go to the top of the World’s tallest structure, the CN Tower. Afterwards, it’s on northward to Kingston and The 1000 Islands. We’ll overnight at the Holiday Inn – Waterfront in the city of Kingston. (Breakfast & Dinner included today) ● Tuesday: 1000 ISLANDS & VERMONT: This morning we’ll continue our tour with a boat cruise of the 1000 Islands area. Then we’ll cross over into the United States stopping in Lake Placid (home of the Olympics) for lunch. We’ll travel on to Burlington, VT where we will overnight for the next two evenings. (Breakfast & dinner included today) ● Wednesday: VERMONT BACKROADS: Today we’ll enjoy a nice breakfast before continuing our “back roads” tour of Vermont. Our schedule today starts with the famous Morse Maple Farm and the wit and wisdom of Burr Morse. We’ll stop for lunch in the tiny - actually very tiny town of Montpelier, Vermont. Never mind that it’s the State Capitol - you can just about see from one end of the town to the other down Main Street. Be sure to get a picture of their amazing State Capitol Building with its gold dome right there on Main Street. Other stops today include Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream (hope you don’t mind a free sample) and to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill (more samples - it’s a way of life up here). (Breakfast included today) ● Thursday: NEW YORK CITY: This morning we’ll need to pack up and start toward New York City. Our route today will include a mini-tour of NYC, as we drive thru by Central Park and down Broadway to Times Square. You’ll have “free time” to explore Broadway & Times Square before heading to our area hotel. (Breakfast included today) ● Friday: LANCASTER, PA & AMISH COUNTRY: Today’s schedule includes a visit to Amish County in Lancaster, PA. We’ll tour Amish Country, have a delicious Amish style dinner and see an exciting Broadway style show at the American Music Theater. We’ll overnight in Lancaster. (Breakfast & dinner included today) ● Saturday: ROANOKE & THOMAS JEFFERSON’S MONTICELLO: Today, we’ll travel to our destination tonight in Virginia. Lunch will be at the historic Michie’s Tavern, famous since the 1700’s and a favorite of President Jefferson. After lunch we’ll visit Monticello, the beautiful mountaintop home and plantation of Thomas Jefferson before heading on down to Roanoke where we will overnight. (All three meals included today) ● Sunday: SADLY WE MUST HEAD HOME: This morning we’ll board up and head homeward. We’ll nap, watch a movie, play games and reflect on all we’ve been able to see and the new friends we’ve met this week. We’ll arrive back in Camden around 6 p.m. Sunday.
