| We’re Now Taking Reservations For - ALWAYS – PATSY CLINE May 23, 2009 (Saturday) FEATURING MANDY BARNETT WITH THE MUSIC & LIFE OF THIS OUTSTANDING SINGER This Spring the critically acclaimed musical, Always – Patsy Cline, returns to the Ryman Auditorium and to the actual stage where country music legend Patsy Cline rose to fame. Vocal powerhouse Mandy Barnett reprises her critically acclaimed turn as Patsy, and theatre veteran Tere Myers returns in the role of Louise Seger. Mandy’s voice is so identical to that of Patsy’s, and she looks like a twin sister, you’ll think you’re actually seeing a Patsy Cline live performance. Patsy Cline and the Ryman share a rich history. Patsy made her Grand Ole Opry debut on this very stage on July 1, 1955, and became an Opry member here in 1960. When she first debuted “Crazy” on the Opry in 1961, she received three standing ovations. Sadly, we lost Patsy along with Cowboy Copas and Hawkshaw Hawkins and their pilot right here in Camden in March, 1963. It’s been -4- years since we last had the opportunity to see this great performance and, like last time, sure to be an instant sell-out. Look At Some Of The Reviews The Show Got Last Time “Sweet Dreams Again” (USA Today) “The simple, touching tale is cleverly interwoven with wonder Cline hit songs” (The Atlanta Journal Constitution” “Mandy Barnett’s voice is worth the price of the admission”.
