A great optional tour is a visit to one of the great wonders of the world, the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza. ISLA ROATAN: This unspoiled island located almost 40 miles off the northern coast of Honduras is part of the Bay Islands, which also include Guanaja and Utila. With a warm climate of around 80 degrees year round, you can lounge on the inlands’s white sandy beaches or snorkel in crystal blue waters. You may also spot some of the wildlife indigenous to the island, such as the Red Lored Parrot, the Lala Monkey or the Jesus Lizard, so named for its ability to “walk on water”. We’ll Leave Camden at 7 a.m. and travel by motor coach to New Orleans on Friday, November 19th, to overnight in preparation for our Saturday noon boarding of our beautiful cruise ship Saturday morning. Upon arrival in New Orleans, we’ll check into our luxury hotel for the evening for a good nights rest.
